2. Do you have a reference from GC who told you to apply? If so, who and how do you know them?

Toughcack is my reference, he was an old time friend and I used to raid with him back in Ulduar/ToC and for a few months in ICC, he was also my arena partner.

I am specced the way I am (18/53/0) instead of the conventional 19/52/0 spec because my current guild doesn’t have a reliable warrior to do commanding shout, so I picked up booming voice, I generally do not find myself being rage-starved so I decided not to spec into unbridled wrath and decided to pick up piercing howl and improved execute. The rest is obviously self-explanatory, deathwish being an essential DPS CD, bloodthirst as one of my primary attacks, heroic fury for an extra intercept if needed on fights such as Putricide.

4. What Glyphs would you use for your pve raid spec and why?


I use glyph of cleaving, glyph of heroic strike and glyph of whirlwind.

Glyph of Cleaving – Allows Cleave to strike another target, 3 as opposed to 2. I picked it up primarily because all of the other glyphs aren’t really viable, and since Valkyr damage on LK is crucial (or used to be) and obviously on other fights as well. Not to mention trash too.

Glyph of Whirlwind – Reduces the CD of WW from 10 seconds to 8, and WW being one of my main abilities, this is definitely a viable glyph for higher DPS.

Glyph of Heroic Strike – Since Heroic Strike is the button I’m always spamming (single-target), each critical hit returns 10 rage to help offset some of the rage depletion from constantly spamming HS.

My weekly playtime is about 40 hours a week at minimum.

7. Why are you interested in joining GC, and what are your goals once guilded?

I am interested in joining GC because I play this game to experience it’s end-game content, and obviously find a new home that I can stay in throughout Cataclysm. With that said, my primary goal in this game is being able to play in that kind of environment with individuals with the same mindset that I possess.

My character currently resides on Eldre’Thalas

Are you always competitive and trying to stand out from the rest of the group?

Yes.

10. Detail your MMO background and prior raid experience. Detail your raiding expertise or lack there of (Direct most of this towards WoW, though if you have an exceptional story or background from another game please share). If you were in a major guild (top 3 of your team/server) in the past or recent, please detail your role within the guild and why you left. Even if you were not in a “major” guild please list the most recent 2 guilds and your role and why you left. DO NOT make a list of the last 20guilds you have been a member of. I joined a guild called seriousonewordguildname and we were 3rd on the server at the time. Shortly after the GM gave up, the guild died and then I joined Echelon, they were in the top 100 US at the time. I’ve raided with them for about a year and have been there for their notable kills in Ulduar, ToC, and ICC including a Realm First Yogg-0 (US 87) and a Tribute to Insanity run (US 54).

Van Helsing, I liked it because I’m a huge fan of European mythical creatures.

13. How old are you? What do you do for a living?

I’m 18 and I’m in my 2nd year of engineering (mechatronics/robotics) and doing fairly good in it.

14. Were you ever an officer or obtained a leadership position of your past guild(s), if so explain your role.


Back in TBC, I was the main tank (as officer) of my guild and a raid leader for 6 months.

15. Do you have internet reliability? Disconnecting frequently is not acceptable for raiding. How good is your computer? Do you get low fps on aoe intense fights?


Yes I have reliable internet and usually will not disconnect midfight. I get about 30-40 FPS on AoE intense fights and my computer is custom built and in perfect condition.

16. Are you the original owner of your account? If not explain. No, this isn’t a trap and using a friends account or how ever you acquired the character does not void you from joining and raiding. However, if it discovered that you falsely claimed ownership of the character you are applying with, you will be removed from raiding capacity with the current or any other characters from other accounts.

17. Have you ever had an online relationship with the opposite sex. Did you ever fly to meet them or vice versa? Was this relationship in WoW? Did it end? If not why are you letting it persist? No.

The rotational that I’m currently following/using is

BT > WW > Bloodsurge (Slam) while spamming HS, I immediately start cleaving as I see more than one target but with exceptions (such as Rotface).

I use Speedyactions to reduce human delay between pressing my keybinds. I’m currently using landsoul’s DPS spreadsheet to help figure out BiS pieces and the most optimal gems that I should use(http://elitistjerks.com/f81/t37462-w...n_spreadsheet/).

There really isn’t much to explain about Fury Warrior DPS, our rotation is simple to follow given that you have a stable connection and decent computer to minimize delay. We make our gear choices and gem to achieve 100% ArP, 26 expertise, and 8% hit (w/ Precision) to minimize damage loss. I obviously try to line up Deathwish w/ Heroism along w/ my haste pot. With that said, I also use NTK to help keep track of my trinket procs to know when it’s best to pop DPS CD’s.

A++, great awareness, great healer on his druid as well. I can't think of a time where I've seen this guy fuck up and he definitely knows how to press his buttons and maximize his damage.
