This was posted on EJ and it at least rings true for my hunter (I have 70 MS on avg on server, never seen a ES tick loss using the ES ES AS ES rotation for LnL). <50ms latency: ES AS ES AS ES minimizes risk of clipping while continuously dpsing. 50-300ms latency: DoT refresh only requires a single shot, so ES is on CD faster with ES ES AS ES >300ms latency: accumulated latency for instant shots prevents DoT clipping, so ES ES ES is best Also since ICD of LnL proc is 10 seconds once being utilized, Explosive trap over Black Arrow is a DPS increase on single target as long as the target remains in the trap for the full duration. Explosive trap ticks more, and allows for you to likely obtain 2 LnL proc per BlackArrow/Explosive Trap rotation. Considering ET is roughly only a 10k dmg loss over BA, getting 2 LnL proc is a much bigger DPS increase.
Your macro takes two clicks too... and you just press it during previous ability before trap either way.
