How are you? Well I hope. My name is Shannon and I have played a mage since day 1. I have also used Combhelper and mybig since their introduction. I was watching your H madness kill video and absolutly loved your setup on these 2 addons. I have never tried to contact another player before for assistance but this is too sweet to pass up. Would it be possible to coordinate with you to get your profile settings for these addons either in or out of game? I sat for an extended amount of time with no luck. Your setup seems to be quite effective on tracking proper ignites. Character I play is named Infurnoburnz on Baelgun. Thanks so much for your time and grats on clearing DS!
Yea it appears in the video that the config he is using for his addons is showing a truer value. Just interested in obtaining his settings if at all possible. Tit pics inc
Ah ok perhaps I have the wrong player. I couldn't tell from the video so I just asked a member who was online at the time in game. They said it was probably Hera. Then, Lumi, could I happen to bug ya?
If you're referring to this video ( ), I use combustionhelper with msbt thresholds mainly to track ignites. This is my setup for combustionhelper: I use 2x triggers in msbt for fireball and pyro sticky crits. They have 3 conditions each and it goes something like.. Main Event -- Skill Damage Crit - Is equal to - True Skill ID - Is equal to - Fireball spellID (and another one with Pyroblast spellID) Recipient Unit Affiliation - Is equal to - You
Thanks for posting up, I appreciate it. More specifically what I was referring to was the skinning you use for CombHelper and the addon to the left of Combhelper? it appears to be MybigIgnite? or is that another output of MSBT? I see you also use Magenuggets, perhaps it is that. I haven't used that addon since late WotLk. Also for MSBT are you referring to the hard cast Pyroblast or the instant proc?
I don't use a skin for CH. I lowered the edge size enough so the circular frame became a box shape and changed the border type. I don't remember exactly but I think the default CH looks something like this.. These are the settings for mine now.. --- Yeah mbi and magenuggets look the same but that one was magenuggets. I was trying it out and it's really bad.. on the Madness vid I even dragged the magenuggets LB tracker off the side of my screen because even that was off by like a second. Anyway, it's way better to track ignite yourself and use CH to verify rather than depending on CH to tell you your ignite.. Here's why: This is a single crit on a target. No stacking ignite. You only combustion with an ignite this sad if you can't get consecutive crits for shit (or if you have to use combustion for something specific like a burn and can't wait for better a better ignite I guess). The trackers are really on point at this level of ignite but it's kind of pointless since the ignite will be below normal combustion range. Also, it's so easy to accurately predict the size of a non-stacked ignite that you don't even need an addon.. When ignite stacks the trackers are usually off. Here's proof of 2 examples of huge ignites with combustions: The second one 30 seconds is more clear since it's single target. I slowed it down so you can see the ignite values CH gives and when compared to my actual ignite ticks how different they really are. This is why I put emphasize on the crits that cause ignite on msbt so I know what spell it was and how much it crit for. A sticky crit completely vanishes after 2 seconds.. an ignite has 2 seconds before it ticks. I know a tiny bit about making triggers on msbt but not really. Kluian got them working in the first place when he messed around w them on the hunter lol.
I get it now. You asked me why your TSM didn't count the glyphs you had up on the Auction House and kept telling you to make more right? I really don't know man.. and when I told you I didn't know it wasn't a "I wouldn't tell you because you're playing AH on Korgath in the same flooded market" or w/e you quoted me from the other thread because I would tell you if I knew..
