guildwars 2 dragon

That looks really cool on the surface but then the giant dragon is just standing there getting beat on while shit goes off around him. He also looks exactly like deathwing, like you said, but with lightning. Still looked fun but they should make it so he attacks people with his tail or claws or something.

I'm confused, they didn't kill him, he just is like fuck it, I don't want to carry my treasure back with me?

I have no clue about the fight but if one of the concepts of the fight was to dislodge crystals/parts of the dragon and then use the crystals as protection to absorb the lightening attack, that is pretty cool.

The first part is kill the waves of minions attacking and destroy their catapults. This is one of the very first fights I think in GW2. There seems to be a lot of stuff on screen, but I thought there was absolutely no raiding in GW2? Is this just like a PQ (Public Quest) system from Warhammer or are those actually NPC helpers?

It looked like a PQ to me I saw something pop up on the screen that there was an event nearby

GW2 is more focused on PvE than PvP and PvP is a completely different game.

yeah it looks great. lots of reasons to play, but idk if there will be that many reasons to stick around once you reach the level cap.

also i think this game is totally going to overshadow swtor. kinda sucks for bioware lol :{

Looks pretty sweet. He only mentioned the realm vs realm pvp, is world pvp completely faction-less like lineage? The whole free to play thing scares me a bit though. Servers and good content are expensive to run and create.

What's their business plan then? A one time payment method doesn't really work for an MMO. Are they going to do a Lotro model where you pay for premium content. A Maplestory model where they make most of their money from micro-transactions. Or maybe they will come out with a completely new model? Regardless they need to make profit somehow.

I fail to see how that explains how they intend to make money after the initial sale of the game. Ya the boss is really flashy and cool looking. How do they pay for new content?
