I figured now's the time to sell. I can always get another weapon, but I can't always sell it for $250.
I put like 5-6 items from my wizard in the AH for I think a grand total of $400. Was planning on playing HC until 1.03 anyway.
I sold a ring for $95. 79.90 after the paypal tax. Was like 22-33 dmg, 74 str 130-something int 70 vitality 14% attack speed. Mryx n Fayden where there, was 5-4k dps better then anything they were wearing. Pretty happy my game payed for itself.
Yeah a ring like that is worth 5-10 million gold easy. There must be a lot of rich people playing D3 because I can't imagine paying 250 bucks for a virtual item...
Once you can buy gold I bet a lot of those items will go down to their a more "fair" value. It does seem like weapons on the gold Ah have skyrocketed in price for some reason. Wish I held onto the decent weps I sold earlier in the week.
My wife would kill me if she found out I spent 250 on a VIRTUAL item. Only way I'm spending money is if I first sell an item for money. Considering i've played every night since release except maybe 3 days, I have not found a single godly item that has sold for more than 100k.
