I always thought the Scoundrel was a shit Follower but.... Bow (with attack speed increase + cold dmg) + Multishot = win. Everything gets slowed
eh trying it out on my wizard, my scoundrel is still 59 though. I think it lets you use arcane orb instead of blizzard which is nice, but if the follower dies you're without a snare. Templar is better for farming since you can put MF shield (and mace I guess) on him.
Depends on what you're playing really. Enchantress is helper of choice for melee because of the armor buff.
Scoundrel is best for ranged because anything that walks near melee eats an AOE 4s stun every 30s if he's alive.
Yeah that makes perfect sense. I don't think companions make much of a difference other than their utility and the enchantress brings all of that to the table for melee, including mass chickens that she never uses in a timely matter.
I'm always town between my scoundrel and my templar... if my fucking templar didnt have balls out amazing gear i'd never use him tbh. But running around with almost 50% block makes him basically unkillable. And i use intimidate instead of the heal so everything that attacks him in snared.. Works pretty good. Plus my scoundrel likes to eat shit all the time.
IDK my templar has like 110k health + good armor / resist and he still dies in act 4 like a bitch lol. Never tried high block though.
How did you get him to 50% block, Mc. The highest I've seen is a shield with 28 that isn't a stormshield, and then maybe a relic with 8% on it. So, 36 from my POV, unless you have the legendary ring with +block.
I got a 1000 dps xbow last night with 290 dex on it. Mc said it made his scoundrel have 7k dps. Sounds good for a melee!
You want a bow anyways for attack speed. I got like a 900+ dps bow for 150k before the patch. *edit* Well I guess its 844 dps now after nerf.
yeah. i think i'll get a 140% crit damage cold bow as well, 3% crit + 20% of 140% is pretty significant
