I know a few people rolled WD and are already rerolling different classes because the pets are completely worthless and make up a large number of skill options. I actually saw a video of a WD tanking and decided to give it a try and invested about 5 million in gear, I have managed to solo up to cydaea with not much difficulty. I basically followed this guide: I have 60k health almost 5k armor and 500 resist all, with 12k DPS. Managing the DPS and vit are a little tough, but its a lot better than getting 1 shot. Anyways, for those who have given up on the WD you might wanna check it out.
This seems like a really gimmicky spec, just like DH tanking (although DH tanking actually does pretty crazy damage.) Can you imagine killing any of the act bosses with their new enrage timers doing this spec? It just won't work... The damage is non-existent.
